For the young and hip, and the not-so-young-but-still-hip singles and couples looking to break loose on the dance floor or sing along, the Coeur d’Alene area has something for everyone.
The Baja Bargarita, on 2nd next to Toro Viejo, is a 21 and over non-smoking venue. It features a plethora of blended margaritas, huge dance floor with mirror ball and DJ.
The Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Shore Lounge is a landmark for locals, with all ages enjoying the live band or DJ. The cache‘ of mingling with guests of the Resort adds to the experience.
For the just-legal drinking age crowd, Mik ‘N Mac’s, 406 N. 4th St, delivers a cut loose atmosphere and high-energy social scene.
A small cover charge buys a big night of live music at The Grail Rock Venue & Restaurant on Seltice Way in Huetter. The average night features 4 to 5 up-and-coming rock bands.
The country crowd flocks to Mecca at Big Al’s at Stateline. One of the few places where dancing on the tables is not only allowed but encouraged, it’s a great place for groups of revelers to two-step and chicken dance.
The Slab Inn on Seltice Way in Post Falls also caters to country music fans, with live music every weekend and free dance lessons before the bands take the stage.
